WARNING – ONLY 4 WEEKS LEFT
The last day to file an application to seek Christmas and holiday time with your children is the first Friday in November each year. This year that is 1 November 2019. Holidays and Christmas can be magical times but if you can’t agree on sharing the time, it can be a conflictual nightmare that ruins this special time for the children. The Court does not guarantee a hearing before Christmas if you file by 1 Nov, but it certainly guarantees you will NOT have one if you file after that date.
BEWARE parties have in the past agreed to time for a party to spend over this holiday, he then took leave, and on Christmas Eve she said “No I never agreed to that”.
